NCABR partners with one of the nation’s most trusted groups of professionals – K-12 educators – to advance public understanding of bioscience research. Since our founding in 1989, we have been dedicated to supporting science literacy and strengthening science, technology, engineering and math education at all levels in North Carolina.
We aim to bring teachers and educators the most objective, timely and authoritative information straight from our partners in academia, industry, nonprofit research, professional societies and government. These efforts funnel real-time information to the STEM curricula in our schools and encourage the next generation of STEM professionals to pursue their educational and career goals.
NCABR also provides scientist speakers for statewide K-12 teacher and student conferences.
