Bridging the Gap is an annual conference whose goal is to strengthen K-16 STEM education throughout North Carolina.
Founded in 2012, Bridging the Gap brings together educators, business leaders, government officials and others who play a role in STEM education to share ideas and resources to ultimately fortify and diversify our state and nation’s STEM workforce pipelines.
What to Expect in 2022 – We’re Back!
The 2022 Bridging the Gap conference will be held in person on October 25-26 in Research Triangle Park. We are limiting the capacity of this year’s conference – our first in-person gathering in three years. We strongly encourage the Bridging the Gap community to register early. A waiting list will be used on a first-come, first-served basis.
Due to the hands-on nature of this conference, it will not be offered in a hybrid format.
For those missing the Bridging the Gap virtual experience, we will offer a completely virtual Bridging the Gap STEM Educator Wellness Reboot in January with keynotes and small group interactive sessions to carry you into the New Year and through your second semester with all that you need to stay healthy and motivated. All 2022 Bridging the Gap attendees automatically will be registered to attend the virtual STEM Educator Wellness Reboot in January, which will be accessible in recorded form afterwards. Those unable to attend the 2022 Bridging the Gap conference in person in October will have the opportunity to register for the virtual STEM Educator Wellness Reboot using a separate stand-alone ticket.
The Bridging the Gap conference team looks forward to seeing you in October and January.
