FBI Academic Biosecurity Workshop 2023 

  

This one-day interactive workshop is designed in collaboration with UNC Chapel Hill and the FBI to increase awareness of potential biosecurity concerns within research institutions.

This program will identity biosecurity roles and responsibilities of law enforcement agencies and research institutions with the intent to improve cooperation and communication among biosecurity stakeholders. Attendees will participate in exercises and discussions to better understand biosecurity risks.

Expert speakers will address insider threat, cyberbiosecurity, select agents, biosecurity challenges of advances in synthetic biology, and more.
